I had embarked on a spiritual journey at age 11 and by 13 I was hooked. It was gradual. I got a job babysitting. I babysat for a manager of a bookstore, and a theater run by Bob Hare, a friend of Mark Turnbull. He was studying Buddhism and his books were laying around so I started reading them. I became a convert. I had already read Toaoism, and Lao Tzu. Buddhism had a lot to offer me. I learned how to view Jesus from the perspective of a Buddhist. There were transcriptions by Alice Bailey who channelled a couple of Buddhist priests over 20 years. I didn't meet Mark until a Teaching Mission conference in Idaho.
