Amanson on “Gratitude” March 31, 2022
Tonight we shall speak, at your request, of Gratitude. Gratitude is the official decree of the offices of The Most Highs. Gratitude is a love turned back on itself, Love brought full circle and, like the dainty dish in your nursery rhyme, “set before the King.” To be grateful is to never tire of the banquet constantly before you, whether this or that particular dish is to your liking or not. All the dishes serve their purpose in your education and make-up, and all will eventually be appreciated “in the fullness of time.” Gratitude fortifies you with the proper attitude to appreciate them all. For they have all been, like them or not, prepared with the same attention to detail and care.
Gratitude is the single most important element in the pursuit of perfection of Spirit, the most basic Truth in the pantheon of truths relevant to a human life. Remember, the only thing missing from an approach to living bereft of joy and satisfaction is Gratitude. Grateful is as grateful does. It’s the one element essential to mirroring back Heaven to earth, Parent to child, Spirit to human. It’s like the rippleless water reflecting the sky above it. The sky brings the water; the water reveals the sky to itself. This is Love and Love’s life in the world. Spirit says, “I love you”; Gratitude says, “and this is your portrait, my version of this gift you have given.”
Gratitude is the basis for a balanced life for it brings together all of its elements, bringing God’s love back around and completing the circuit. And this circuit brings Life to life. Gratitude is as necessary as air or food or water. It is the other half of each of these.

Amanson on “Trust” April 6, 2022
Let’s speak tonight on Trust. Trust is the inviolable bond between Spirit and Mind, creating a tension that results in the growth of the human being, the ascending personality.
Trust is a deeply forged high-wire act, not of balance but of certainty; born of attending to the unwinding stream of conceptual thinking arising from within, concepts which place themselves on the docket to be perused and pursued, whose substance is all the while in question – “Is it so? Is it so?” - the definitive answer to which is found ever and ever deeper in the yet unexplored reaches of the Heart. These mysterious questions, coming from Spirit regions of Mind, can only be answered, confirmed, by a counseling of the Heart.
Trust is the experienced side of Hope; the resultant claim of Faith; the final work of the Spirit/human bond. All Spirit action – action taken on the will’s behalf in the Spirit dimension – is fueled, impelled, sanctified, validated and completed by Trust. Oh, we can hope something will happen; we can say we have faith it will happen, but it is Trust that locks in the outcome, that actually builds the bridge.
And just as trust will reveal to us whatever it is we would have revealed, yet must our trust be large enough, sturdy enough, to trust in its Creator - of whom it is an embodiment - and leave the actual outcome to Trust itself.
We can claim maturity when we not only trust in the efficiency of Spirit but when we have learned that Spirit knows all and will provide an outcome worthy of our trust. Understanding is not necessary, but Trust is essential. Understanding will come along in the end, but Trust is the prerequisite to any sort of insight at all.
Part 2 ~
Trust is a mutual agreement between man and God. Its mechanism is Spirit; its foundry is Mind. Such Trust aspires to a level of mutual intimacy, that the one’s Trust may never at any given time be removed – even be told apart -- from the others. Trust, like Love appearing as Light, holds the world as we know it together.
Trust is to the mind what Love is to the heart: its very substance. And because this is so, it can be trusted. Trusting in Spirit is to blend these two most important pillars – Spirit finds its image in Trust and Trust finds its substance in Spirit. Trust is Love-through-Mind in action. Trust is knowing what is done has been done, before it is done. It would appear to be premonition were time an actual thing. Its home is the heart though it activates in mind. Its actual Home [birthplace] is beyond both. Trust is the greatest thing you can give a friend, and the holiest essential ‘Your Friend’ has given you. Love is unconditional, it exists regardless. Trust is built, discovered, brick by brick on your own. The Creator trusts you implicitly. You must learn to trust your Creator.

Amanson on Death, November 18, 2022
Tonight, at your request, the always timely topic of ‘Death’.
Death is the most misunderstood rite-of-passage in your world today. Its accomplishment can occur in so many different guises – grisly, peaceful, mysterious, welcome – that understanding its significance can be a challenge. The truth of the matter is its Simplicity: it’s merely shedding one set of raiment for another, as the original raiment, the one worn in the physical reality, when it becomes worn, stretched to the point of no repair, has to be abandoned – what suit of clothes wouldn’t? So, the subsequent raiment, that which replaces the familiar body of flesh, blood and bone, is of such a finer material as to be unrecognizable to its former eye, [which is] the present eye of the mourners and attendees to the newly arrayed but now invisible subject. But just because one set of circumstances is too subtle to be perceived by those in another circumstance does not mean there is nothing to this new unperceived reality. It merely means it cannot be seen, recognized, addressed.
Death is the one universally acknowledged event in the process of living that holds all feet to the fire – it cannot be circumvented and yet it is an illusion, so the joke, as you might say, is on circumvention itself. To boldly question the very notion of ‘death’ is the first step in seeing through it. There are two modes of disbelief, though only one is the true one, the fruitful path. You can deny death’s existence by asserting [that] it’s entirely too real – the proverbial ‘final curtain’ (as Hamlet put it so succinctly, “No more”); or you can disbelieve the very notion of an end stop – which is the true way – and find the Light now that continues on then – the Interior Illumination providing Life itself within each of us living, who then, when the time comes, shall step effortlessly across as Life continues its flow, you being part of it – you practiced it here, and with nary a bump or hitch you now practice it there.
And is there an order of hierarchy at play? Does one need to be amongst the ‘Anointed’ to take advantage of so Royal a treatment? No! Those who have an inkling of the process, who practice its foreknowledge consciously now will likely have an easier time facing ‘the great transition’ but the transition’s amenities are afforded to all: the frightened; the prepared.
As I say, ‘death’ is probably the most misunderstood aspect of the long ritual of living on so rough-and-tumble a planet, and yet in the end (which would seem to be what we’re talking about, but understand – it isn’t!) it is far Simpler for the disembodied than for the bodied - those fellows, colleagues, friends and family left to imagine where their cohort has gone; although were their eyes sharp enough, their imaginations rich enough, their faith strong enough, their grief would be assuaged instantly and their confusion lifted, lifted higher than their understanding of earthly things had ever been. For how much here can really be understood other than there’s a grand agenda, a far-flung curriculum at play, which death, in all its misunderstood grandeur, actually represents.
Follow the path as it’s laid out lovingly before you and know that it is all for your benefit. Which benefits all. It’s quite a system.

Amanson on Wonder 3/26/2023
“Wonder” is the delight of the universe; the motivating source of curiosity, exclamation, and joyous intent, bringing Spirit being into focus and a thirst for understanding into the intellects of mankind’s brothers and sisters.
Wonder is the encapsulation of the thirst for adventure that propels man into his/her joyous cycles of ‘dig, sift, discover, and chronicle’. It is a mirror of the vast unknowable frontier within a person, a frontier rife with mysterious nooks and crannies, undiscovered sequences, doors and hallways leading to undreamt of vistas and far-reaching objectives. We see all this personified when we look out at this unimaginable world.
But it was imagined. Therein lies the wonder. And who wouldn’t, when faced with things of such wonder, wonder? This is its purpose, its reason for being: the Wonder of it all. To wonder is to be at one with your own; [i.e. your own wonder], a noun engaged as a verb, or perhaps a noun engaged in ‘verbing’. The noun – the ‘wonder’ that is you – is at the same time a verb! Just as with the word ‘Love’. When is it never a verb? When is it, like Wonder, never active, even when it’s describing a stationary thing? Do you see? Do you see the wonder of it all?
And as you sit in wonder, let Wonder increase your perception. Let Wonder allow in the Maker of wonders and their Wonder. It is all connected beyond outmoded mental concepts which try to capture the manifold while completely misunderstanding the apparatus in its original design and purpose. And who could understand such a thing? - its original design and purpose is wonder! And Wonder demands a humbling, a letting go of the mental constructs that delight in, but fail to, piece the wondrous thing together. It is indeed wondrous that this piece fits here, and that piece there, and that their effect is triggered by, say, this switch over here; or that these leaves fall from the tree in November and come back in May. Those things, its components, its ‘teamwork’ shall we say, can all be tracked. And yes, it is all wondrous. But beyond all that – the specific blendings of the many different working parts of things both manmade and natural – beyond all that is the Wonder. Who? Where is the beginning of such a thing? Not how it works but that it works. Not how it exists but that it exists. This is Wonder.
And the wonder of it all is made greater still by noting, as has been noted, such things are nothing compared to you. You are the Wonder of the world. Follow that mountain path through the lofty peaks, ducking behind waterfalls, out into the fields where, looking up, a bright sun and stars shine ever down, and realize what has been described is not of the outside world. It is within you, the Wonder of all creation. Now, open your eyes. And wonder.

Amanson on "Belief / Beliefs" Dec. 3
'Belief' is that from out of which a life is woven. Belief is your hall pass to all that the universe has to offer. It is the one intangible reality that is ultimately tangible in ways no one could have foreseen but the believer. 'Beliefs' are fabrications suggested from without, but Belief is a fabricator manifesting from within.
The difference between 'belief' and 'beliefs' is primary. The one - 'Belief'- is an engine, a creator of worlds. 'Beliefs' are simply choices made within a questioning mind, choices that ultimately manifest as questions themselves, until they can be replaced by a larger recognition of That from which the questions sprang in the first place.
Belief is the human side of creation [i.e. the act of creating]. Belief is the mechanism that links you up with and locks you into the (Holy) spirit that is Creation, that is Energy itself. Nothing gets done without purpose, and nothing of purpose gets done without Belief.
And yet 'Belief' is often maligned as being synonymous with 'beliefs' plural. This is a mistake. Look at Belief as the trunk of a tree, and beliefs (plural) as its leaves and branches. They are not the trunk, the organizing principle, but they do thrive and grow and, just like leaves, will change with the turning of the seasons. The trunk [Belief itself] remains ever connected to its source, in fact its roots sinking deeper and deeper; while our beliefs, once blossoms, soon enough decay.
Nothing is activated without Belief -- neither simple endeavor nor realization of the framework of Creation. In both cases what Belief puts in motion is the turning of a key and the unlocking of a door, a door which, without the element of Spirit-suffused Imagination (i.e. Belief), will remain closed -- the endeavor lies dormant due to lack of individual volition, the exponential power of dedication; the realization of Cosmic Industry remains ungraspable due to the refusal to recognize it on its own terms, the very Belief that is creation itself: Spirit in its working clothes.
The individual has a choice in this life: to follow life to its roots, the engine room, so to speak, to discover for oneself the wheels and gears, the very Mechanic in charge! ; or to wallow in, remain simply satisfied with, the trappings of a life, disregarding its most powerful tool - a tool that ironically strips away the mere comforting furniture of 'beliefs' - the all-powerful Gift of Creation --gifted you by its Creator -- the game-changer: Belief.
